Illegal Alien Wanted For Murder Arrested In Pennsylvania

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) removed a fugitive citizen of Guatemala, Wednesday wanted by Guatemalan authorities for homicide.

Elmer Hernandez-Natareno, 41, unlawfully entered the United States, at a location and date unknown.

On May 31, 2008, the Plumstead Township, Pennsylvania police arrested Hernandez-Natareno on local charges. On Jan. 8, 2009, Hernandez-Natareno, departed the United States to Guatemala, via a commercial flight from the Newark International Airport in Newark, New Jersey.

On April 14, 2009, Hernandez-Natareno entered the United States near Hidalgo, Texas, without admission or parole by an immigration officer. On April 15, 2009, the United States Border Patrol (USBP) arrested him near Falfurrias, Texas, charging him as being inadmissible. USBP transferred Hernandez-Natareno to ERO San Antonio custody. On April 30, 2009, ERO San Antonio removed him to Guatemala.

On an unknown date in 2009, Hernandez-Natareno claims to have illegally reentered the United States without admission or parole by an immigration officer.

On March 15, 2012, the Ninth Court of the Criminal First Instance for Guatemala, issued an arrest warrant for Hernandez-Natareno for homicide and attempted homicide.
