It is an obvious fact now that, for several years, there has been a subtle (and often not-so subtle) effort underway to de-Christianize Christmas. The politically correct among us would never dare utter those forbidden words “Merry Christmas.” Utterly unthinkable! We must all be programmed to say “Happy Holidays” or “Season’s Greetings” but never Merry Christmas. To openly acknowledge Jesus Christ and the Christmas season has become something beyond the pale–maybe not so much with Trump in office, but most certainly when Obama was in office. Obama claimed he was a Christian but he acted like a Muslim, and as they say, “the proof of the pudding is in the eating.” And so the liberal/Marxist mindset is at war with Christ and Christmas. The memory of Christ and Christmas must be stamped out nationwide just as surely as Confederate symbols must be stamped out in the South (and most other places too).
For years outfits like the ADL (Anti-Defamation League) and others have railed against Christmas as a Christ-centered season. They’ve managed to get most of the big retail places on their side. No one sells Christmas trees anymore. Now they sell “holiday trees” and government …
