Georgian Orthodox Church Trolls the LGBTI Brigade

On the 17th of May, degenerates around the world celebrated IDAHOTB, the International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia. The date was specifically chosen “to commemorate the World Health Organization’s decision in 1990 to declassify homosexuality as a mental disorder.” It is ultimately a day about bashing, marginalizing, and humiliating all us “prejudiced bigots” who want children to grow up with their father and mother and recognize the biological reality and significance of gender.

In reaction to this, the Orthodox Church in the former Soviet Republic of Georgia organized a mass traditional marriage day on the 17th of May. This day, declared by this denomination to be Family Purity Day in reaction to the LGBTI agenda, was marked by the church weddings of no less than 500 heterosexual couples. The traditionalist movement within the Georgian Orthodox Church, the Patriarchate’s Chokhosnebi, organized all the ceremonies to commence on Family Purity Day. Patriarchate’s Chokhosnebi advocates traditional Christianity, Georgian traditions, and family values.

A few years ago, we also reported on the energetic rally against homosexuality that was organized by the Georgian Orthodox Church, where “priests were among the counter-protesters and carried stinging nettles, which they threatened to use on the homosexuals.” …
