UN claims world hunger is necessary, as governments intentionally cause poverty on a global scale

(Natural News) In 2008, the United Nations (UN) published an op-ed, “The Benefits of World Hunger.” The article claims that ending hunger is a “naïve view” because hunger is “fundamental to the working of the world’s economy.” The article asserts that “hungry people are the most productive people, especially when there is a need for manual labor.” The article states that “no one works harder than hungry people.” A population that is motivated by hunger is easier to control and enslave.
“Yes, people who are well nourished have greater capacity for productive physical activity, but well-nourished people are far less willing to do that work,” the article goads.

“For those of us at the high end of the social ladder, ending hunger globally would be a disaster,” the op-ed states. “If there were no hunger in the world, who would plow the fields?…
