(WND) Dylan Gartenmayer has spent much of his 22 years of life in the water, since before he was even born. His family has made Key West their home for generations, and swimming, diving, and fishing are in their blood.

Dylan’s mother, Tabitha Gartenmayer, said his first taste of spearfishing was when she was pregnant.

“As natives of Key West, we love the ocean,” she told WTVJ. “I was spearfishing with Dylan in my belly.””I do a lot of deep free diving, so I like to go over 100 plus feet on a single breath,” Dylan said.

The family knows the raw power of the ocean, but their familiarity with it is what saved Dylan on Thursday when he was out diving with some friends…

(The New American) A new study released by the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) shows that people who attend church regularly — who “participate in organized religious activities” — live longer.

The study follows one done by the National Academy of Science last year. At that moment in time, the National Center for Health Statistics, part of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), reported that life expectancy in the United States had dropped nearly three full years just since 2020. This “was the biggest two-decline in life expectancy since 1921-1923.”

In other words, instead of continuing to decline (life expectancy in 1900 was 46 years), mortality leveled off around 1990 and then began to climb.

Theorists, scientists, and actuaries call the upward bending mortality curve…

‘Walt’s Disenchanted Kingdom’: New Film Explores How Disney Abandoned Family-Friendly Entertainment for ESG, LGBTQ Activism

“Once upon a time, if it was a Disney movie, you knew it was going to be safe for children,” Media Research Center (MRC) Founder and President Brent Bozell says at the beginning of a new documentary, “Walt’s Disenchanted Kingdom,” set to premiere next week on Monday, January 23.

Subtitled “How Disney is losing its way,” the film explores Disney’s degeneration from an iconic, beloved family entertainment enterprise to an activist political operation opposing parental rights and bent on indoctrinating children into liberal, “woke” gender and sexual ideologies.

The film features the insights of renowned conservative leaders, such as MRC’s Bozell, world-famous pediatric Neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson and Catholic League President Bill Donohue, whose organization produced the documentary.

It explains how huge asset management companies have succeeded in pressuring companies like Disney to …

(Christian Post) A congregation in Selma, Alabama, praised God and their hero daycare staff on Sunday for saving the lives of some 70 children in their care as deadly tornadoes swept through parts of the southeastern U.S. last Thursday.

Members of Crosspoint Christian Church met in the church’s parking lot for worship on Sunday to give thanks. Despite the devastation of property they suffered, no one from the church community was among the nine fatalities left in the aftermath of at least 35 possible tornado touchdowns in the region.

“Nothing but by the grace of God that they walked out of there,” the Rev. David Nichols of Crosspoint Christian Church told the Associated Press about the survival of the children and staff.

Had it not been for the quick thinking of daycare teachers to gather the children, who range in age from infants to 5-year-olds, in four separate bathrooms, the damage from the tornado would likely have been more devastating for…
