(Activist Post) – Can you imagine paying seven dollars for a gallon of gasoline? It could soon happen, because it appears that Israel is about to strike Iran, and that is likely to cause events in the Middle East to spiral completely out of control. Right now, approximately one-fifth of all oil used in the world goes through the Strait of Hormuz. An apocalyptic war in the region could potentially close the Strait of Hormuz until the conflict is resolved one way or the other. In addition, oil infrastructure could be destroyed in Iran and other nations in the Middle East as the fighting rages, and that could substantially reduce global oil production for an extended period of time. Our way of life depends on cheap oil, and so if a major regional war in the Middle East causes the price of oil to go skyrocketing that is going to deeply affect all of us.

On Monday, the average price of a gallon of gasoline in the United States was just $3.63…

The average price for a gallon of regular gas in the U.S. was $3.63 as of Monday, according to AAA, up almost 4 cents from a week earlier and 22 cents from a month ago.

Even though the average price of a gallon of gasoline has risen more than 20 cents in a month, I would still consider it to be at a very low level, especially compared to what is eventually coming.

One expert that was interviewed by MarketWatch is warning that the average price of a gallon of gasoline in the U.S. could hit…

The Assault on the Institution of the Traditional American (Southern) Family

(The Prattville Dragoons) – “Our enemies are a traditionless, homeless race. From the days of Cromwell to the present day they have been the disturbers of the peace of the world….After what has happened the last two years, my only wonder is that we consented to live for so long a time in association with such miscreants. Were it ever proposed to enter again into a Union with such a people, I could no more consent to do it than to trust myself in a den of thieves.” (Jefferson Davis, Dec 16, 1861)

One of the established reasons for the secession of the Southern states was the recognition that the Southern and Northern peoples, cultures, and way of life were so disparate that they were incompatible. The Southern economy was based on agriculture while the North was developing more industry; Northern industry used many raw goods produced in the South and sought to retain the Southern populace as a captured market for their finished goods. Much of the South was still rural and wilderness and required settling and land development. Religion and mostly Protestantism was embedded deeply in Southern culture. Southern culture adhered to a patriarchal model with the family unit working together important to the success of their farms. The North was the center of most immigration in the 19th century which created a mottled society diluted from a sense of shared tradition gained from the founding colonists and nation’s fathers.

Today the striking cultural differences between the red states and blue states are as glaring as in the antebellum period. Texit is gaining momentum with Texans not identifying with the rest of the country’s direction including allowing unrestricted illegal immigration across the border there. Many on social media share the same feelings as this poster on Twitter (X), “I find it really hard to even refer to them as “fellow Americans”. Leftists are furiously doing their best to destroy the future for our children and grandchildren. I have absolutely NOTHING in common with these people.” I ran across an…

The Robin Hood Effect

(American Thinker) – In a previous essay, I broached the topic of popular nullification in the context of rejecting the State’s propaganda. Citizens are increasingly seeing through the lies Western governments regularly tell their populations in order to buttress their authority and maintain effective social control. As awful as COVID’s lockdowns and other rank authoritarian mandates were, they proved salubrious in educating the public as to how government institutions (including health agencies) fabricate scientific evidence and betray basic medical ethics in pursuit of broader totalitarian agendas. Part of the heightened pushback to expensive “green energy” directives and farming regulations stems from enhanced public awareness that Western governments flood the information space with fake news meant to justify more expansive and intrusive government control.

For critical thinkers who are cognizant of governments’ longstanding use of psychological and sociological “dark arts” to manipulate their own citizens, the public’s “awakening” may seem too late, slow, or insignificant. On the contrary, it is accelerating.

Shattering existing paradigms is like escaping from an intellectual prison. For most people, that prison is all they have ever known. A lot of lone escapees look back at their former cages from a distance and presume that those who remain locked up will never find the strength to break free. The problem, however, is not a lack of strength, but a paralyzing misapprehension that the prison trapping so many minds represents the limits of what is possible.

Right now the rate of intellectual liberation seems slow because inmates escape one at a time. When enough critical thinkers are able to demolish prison walls with the force of their reason, no government lie will be able to stop those who…

(Southern Heritage News & Views) – A great woman erased from history by idiots.

The branding of the syrup was a tribute to this woman’s gifts and talents. Now future generations will not even know this beautiful woman existed. What a shame. The world knew her as “Aunt Jemima”, but her given name was Nancy Green and she was a true American success story. She was born a slave in 1834 Montgomery County, KY. and became a wealthy superstar in the advertising world, as its first living trademark. Green was 56-yrs old when she was selected as spokesperson for a new ready-mixed, self-rising pancake flour and made her debut in 1893 at a fair and exposition in Chicago. She demonstrated the pancake mix and served thousands of pancakes, and became an immediate star. She was a good storyteller, her personality was warm and appealing, and her showmanship was exceptional. Her exhibition booth drew so many people that special security personnel were assigned to keep the crowds moving. Nancy Green was signed to a lifetime contract, traveled on promotional tours all over the country, and was extremely well paid. Her financial freedom and stature as a national spokesperson enabled her to become a leading advocate against poverty and in favor of equal rights for all Americans. She maintained her job until her death in 1923, at age 89. This was a remarkable woman, and sadly she has been ERASED by politics. I wanted you to know and remind you in this cancel culture time period…

House Reauthorizes FISA; Texas Nationalist Movement Cites Invasion of Privacy and Calls for #TEXIT

(TNM News) – In the latest display of governmental overreach, the US House of Representatives has opted to reauthorize the controversial Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), particularly the notorious Section 702. This decision comes as a significant setback for the privacy of Texas citizens. It underscores the urgent necessity for Texas to reassess its ties with a federal government so willing to infringe upon the constitutional rights of its citizens.

Despite minor amendments intended to slightly curtail its scope, the renewal of FISA permits the continued warrantless surveillance of Americans—something that alarmingly occurs under the guise of targeting foreign threats. These actions starkly illustrate the ongoing neglect of the Fourth Amendment rights of American citizens, a core issue that the Texas Nationalist Movement firmly opposes as we advocate for the protection and respect of Texan citizens’ rights through TEXIT.

The bill to renew FISA passed with a 273-147 vote after reducing the extension period from five to just two years in a shallow attempt to placate opposition. This strategic change, however, did little to address the core issues of Section 702—the heart of the controversy—leaving it untouched and perpetuating the government’s ability to misuse…

Youngkin (Not Really) halts bill removing Confederacy-related tax exemptions

(Virgina Pilot) – An amendment from Gov. Glenn Youngkin would halt a bill intended to remove real estate-related tax exemptions from several organizations with ties to the Confederacy, instead requiring the measure to undergo a study and another vote next year.

The governor’s recommendation would direct the Virginia Department of Taxation to examine the effect of removing the exemptions on state and local government revenues. It states the department will submit a report of its findings to the House and Senate finance committees by Nov. 1. The legislation would not take effect unless reenacted by the General Assembly in 2025.

Del. Alex Askew, D-Virginia Beach, and Sen. Angelia Williams Graves, D-Norfolk, each carried the bill in their respective chambers. Askew called the governor’s proposal “unacceptable.”

“This is about fairness and fiscal responsibility,” he wrote Tuesday on social media. “We shouldn’t delay aligning our code with our values and vision for the Commonwealth.”

The final version of the bill that passed the legislature would remove tax exemptions for real and personal property owned by the Virginia Division of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, the General Organization of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, the Confederate Memorial Literary Society and Stonewall Jackson Memorial, Incorporated.

In response to the governor’s amendment, UDC President General Jinny Widowski released a statement condemning the “continued harassment” of the organization.

“The General Assembly of Virginia is the entity that required us to exist when they asked our ancestors to go to war and defend their borders,” she wrote. “The biggest difference between the men we honor through our organization’s efforts and today’s politicians is, when the going got tough, our ancestors were willing to die for Virginia.”…
