Man gets $21 Grand for 3-D Printed Guns at NY Buy-Back

(Sometimes gaming the system is a good thing. I especially like how some expose the idiocy of gun buy-backs by selling home made guns that ere never bought. Others stand outside with a little extra cash and happily pick up a few bargains, even a few collectors items at fire sale prices. – DD)

Man says he was paid $21,000 for trading in 3D-printed guns at government buyback event, New York attorney general responds

(The Blaze) A New York man claimed that he was paid $21,000 for trading in 3D-printed guns at a government buyback event.
A man who identified himself as “Kem” noticed that the New York attorney general’s office was holding a gun buyback event at the Utica Police Department on Aug. 27. Kem allegedly 3D-printed dozens of guns on a $200 3D printer he got for Christmas.
Kem told WKTV, “I 3D-printed a bunch of lower receivers and frames for different kinds of firearms.”
The man reportedly drove six hours to the Utica Police Department to trade in the firearms.
Kem said, “And he sees the tote and says, ‘how many firearms do you have?’ And I said, ‘110.’”…Read the rest

(Daily Signal) President Joe Biden’s most recent speech on gun control showed, once again, that he has little respect for gun owners or the Second Amendment. Consider, for example, where Biden mocked (and not for the first time) gun owners as being afraid of “deer in Kevlar vests” simply because they want to defend themselves and their families with the same guns that law enforcement officers use to protect the president and his family.
It was just one unserious moment among many in a completely unserious speech in which Biden also reminded gun owners that they should just comply with gun control because, after all, he could just carpet-bomb them into submission.
Unfortunately, the president never will be able to talk seriously about the Second Amendment until he understands one fundamental reality about the right to keep and bear arms—it is not about hunting or sport shooting.
It’s about the natural right of self-defense…Read the rest

Gun Hating Liberals Ruin Civil War Reenactment With New Gun Control Law

(Trending Politics) Well, liberals have managed to ruin fun once again, which is something they have become exceedingly good at over the last twenty years or so. So, whose parade have they rained on this time? Thanks to a sweeping gun control law, a yearly Civil War reenactment that is held in a small town known as Angelica, located in the western part of New York, has been cancelled.
You know, this is such a simple issue to solve. If only we took the Constitution seriously. It clearly states that Americans have the right to own firearms and that such a right shall not be infringed. Boom. Done. Gun control is not constitutional, even in just a simple plain reading. Dump it in the garbage and let’s get back to it. Unfortunately, liberals are doing everything in their power to destroy the Second Amendment and ensure the populace is unarmed, which makes them perfect targets for a hostile takeover by oppressive governmental forces….Read the rest

Firearms manufacturers rush to relocate to red states

(Texian Partisan) According to a recent story in the Washington Post, at least 20 gun manufacturers over the past decade have moved their companies’ productions and operations from states that place restrictions on Second Amendment rights to states with more fundamental, constitutionally-rooted attitudes towards firearms and ammunition, like Texas.
A new (2022) report by Visual Capitalist shows more companies hold gun manufacturing licenses in Texas than in any other U.S. state. Expectedly, large states like Texas and Florida are home to the most firearms producers; but per capita, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho lead the way in terms of numbers of licensees. These numbers highlight a growing trend: Gun manufacturers are moving from the Northeast—the historic cradle of the American Revolutionary War—to southern and western states.
Visual Capitalist’s Nick Routley shows the sharp spike in gun manufacturer production in the United States over the last decade, a period in which so-called mass shooting events in the country have become more and more common.
The U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) released a comprehensive report, showing between 2000 and 2020, the number of domestically manufactured firearms produced on an annual basis per 100,000 persons in the U.S. increased by a staggering 187%. During that same time, the U.S. population only increased 18%. Per the ATF report, at no point since 2011 has there been a year where fewer than 6,731 ,958 firearms were manufactured for domestic consumption.
In terms of market size…Read the rest

(Trending Politics) As President Joe Biden braces for his dismal prime-time, Thursday lecture on “how bad we are” and following his libelous anti-MAGA gun law address in Pennsylvania on Monday, the context of POTUS’ statements will be ineptitude and disrespect for America’s interests.
The Department of Defense Inspector General’s report released this month clarifies the financial impact of Biden’s botched pullout from Afghanistan. Nearly all US armaments were evacuated or destroyed, but Afghanistan’s old government had $7.12 billion in US taxpayer-supplied merchandise before it collapsed. The DODIG confirms that the Taliban took much of this equipment. The Taliban’s arsenal includes aircraft, vehicles, guns, and other equipment.
Previous claims from the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) outline facts. The previous Afghani government abandoned US-supplied Black Hawk helicopters, light aircraft, 2,000 Humvees, 7,000 machine guns, 20,000 grenades, 1,300 rocket launchers, and satellite phones. But wait! Americans delivered 600,000 guns, principally M4 rifles, to Afghani forces, replacing the Russian-made AK-47s used by Taliban fighters all through the 20-year battle…Read the rest
