Karine Jean-Pierre discussed the MLB team name during Monday’s press briefing

(FOX) Twitter roasted White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre for suggesting that conversations about rebranding the Atlanta Braves are "important" to have.
"We believe that it’s important to have this conversation, and Native American and indigenous voices, they should be at the center of this conversation," Jean-Pierre told Bloomberg News’ Jennifer Jacobs during Monday’s White House press briefing.
"That is something that the president believes, that is something this administration believes, and he has consistently emphasized all people deserve to be treated with dignity and respect," she added.

Abrams took in at least $150,000 from Dream Project Partners, which maintains practically no online presence

(FOX) Democratic Georgia gubernatorial nominee Stacey Abrams received over $100,000 from a mysterious limited liability company that doesn’t appear to have any online presence outside of her financial disclosure form and corporate records, a Fox News Digital review found.
Abrams’ financial disclosure form, released in March, lists Dream Project Partners Inc. in multiple sections, including "statement of income" and "direct ownership interests in business entity." The Georgia Democrat listed herself as a "Board Member and Shareholder" and recorded in the income section that she received $50,000 in 2021 and $100,000 in 2022.
The financial form says she has no duties with Dream Project Partners Inc, and its "principal activity" description is also vague…

Georgia Drops Charges Against Police Who Shot Rayshard Brooks: ‘Justified’

(Brietbart) A specially-appointed prosecutor dropped charges Tuesday, including murder, against Atlanta, Georgia police officers Garrett Rolfe and Devin Brosnan, who shot and killed Rayshard Brooks in a June 2020 incident that led to Black Lives Matter riots.
Brooks, 27, a black man, had fallen asleep in his vehicle in a Wendy’s drive-thru and was questioned by the officers, who had been called to the scene. After speaking with the officers, he resisted arrest and stole an officer’s Taser, firing it at them. Rolfe fired at Brooks, who was killed.
A mob then arrived and burned the Wendy’s. Democrats, such as failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, said the shooting was “murder.” Celebrities, such as Justin Timberlake, joined in condemning police.
One of the officers’ stepmother was fired from her job. Then-Fulton County district attorney said that police officers ought to be inducted without a grand jury investigation…Read the rest

Atlanta Police Sends SWAT Team to Catch a Vandal

(PJ Media) In 2014, Atlanta-based LGBTQ activist Robert Sepulveda, Jr. started a movement to paint a rainbow crosswalk in Atlanta. The city painted rainbow colors across the crosswalks at the intersection of 10th Street and Piedmont Avenue just in time for the 2015 pride festivities in Atlanta — which inexplicably don’t take place during Pride Month.
The crosswalk has its own website, and the LGBTQETC community in Atlanta treats the crosswalk as if it’s some sort of monument. Atlanta has the third-largest gay community among major U.S. cities, with Seattle having recently taken over the #2 spot. (Do better, Atlanta!)
“What we’d like you to know is that, this is not just an LGBT issue and these are not just painted crosswalks; The crosswalks themselves will bring the advancement of unity and awareness of human rights through public art,” the website crows. “We all know Atlanta is in the center of the Deep South with religion being at the core of many family bonds as well as very rural areas only minutes away from Midtown.”
Speaking of religion, the crosswalk has sacred meaning to the left in Atlanta. Anytime someone leaves tire marks on the precious crosswalks, the community goes up in arms.
