Threat to Democracy – Really?

(AMAC) Leading Democrats are becoming cartoon characters, repeating absurd anti-Republican rhetoric, as if nonsense makes sense. Calling Republicans “enemies of the state,” a “threat to democracy,” “extremist,” pushing the trope that “democracy is at stake” is not just shrill or desperate. Parties that intentionally delegitimize free speech, seeking to silence their critics, are the real threat to democracy.
Unpacking reality, free speech cannot be suppressed in representative democracy that expects to survive. It is the corrective mechanism – constitutionally baked into our republic – that allows truth to emerge from the competition of ideas and assures fear does not replace open offensive discussion.
When free speech, including non-violent protest, social media, media, basic school board and town meeting, and neighborhood talk, is chilled or clipped by physical, educational, employment, or practical fear, the corrective mechanism required to keep us one, is dulled, chilled, eventually nullified, silenced, unable to work…Read the rest

FBI Agents Accuse Biden of Pressuring FBI to Fabricate ‘Extremist’ and ‘White Supremacist’ Cases

(PJ Media) Current and former FBI agents have come forward saying the Biden administration is deliberately exaggerating the danger posed by white supremacists. They claimed that high-ranking FBI officials were pressuring field agents to fabricate domestic terrorism cases and label people as white supremacists in order to “meet internal metrics.”
“The demand for white supremacy” coming from FBI brass “vastly outstrips the supply of white supremacy,” one agent told the Washington Times. “We have more people assigned to investigate white supremacists than we can actually find.”
The FBI agent, who requested anonymity in order to discuss internal bureau politics, said that top officials in the FBI “have already determined that white supremacy is a problem” and established a policy to prioritize investigations into racially-motivated domestic extremism.
“We are sort of the lapdogs as the actual agents doing these sorts of investigations, trying to find a crime to fit otherwise First Amendment-protected activities,” he said. “If they have a Gadsden flag and they own guns and they are mean at school board meetings, that’s probably a domestic terrorist.”…Read the rest

Zero arrests in at least 16 Jane’s Revenge attacks on pro-life organizations
FBI says, ‘The incidents are being investigated as potential acts of domestic violent extremism’

(FOX) Not a single arrest has been made in the more than a dozen attacks on pro-life organizations across the country claimed by left-wing pro-abortion group Jane’s Revenge.
Jane’s Revenge has claimed responsibility for at least 18 arson and vandalism attacks on crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs) and other faith-based organizations throughout the U.S. since the May 2 leak of the Supreme Court draft opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which overturned Roe v. Wade.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation first told Fox News Digital in June that it had launched an investigation into the targeted vandalism. The FBI said in a Sept. 7 statement that it was still investigating the "series of attacks and threats targeting pregnancy resource centers, faith-based organizations, and reproductive health clinics across the country, as well as to judicial buildings, including the US Supreme Court," but it made no mention of Jane’s Revenge specifically…Read the rest
