Liberal dark money network quietly launches gun group to create ‘narrative that guns make us less safe’
Project Unloaded, housed in Arabella Advisors dark money network, recruited social media influencers to push anti-gun messaging
(FOX) A left-wing group aiming to shift public opinion against firearms quietly launched at the largest liberal dark money network in America, Fox News Digital has found.
Project Unloaded, an anti-gun group, hopes to create a "new cultural narrative that guns make us less safe" by undertaking campaigns targeting teens and young adults, according to its website.
"Research shows that teens and young adults are forming opinions and making decisions about guns, Project Unloaded’s website states. "Through creative and cultural campaigns, Project Unloaded establishes safe spaces for open conversations about guns and provides accurate information about gun safety to inspire the next generation to choose on their own terms not to own a gun."
Project Unloaded is not a standalone organization…Read the rest
(Sometimes gaming the system is a good thing. I especially like how some expose the idiocy of gun buy-backs by selling home made guns that ere never bought. Man says he was paid $21,000 for trading in 3D-printed guns at government buyback event, New York attorney general responds
(The Blaze) A New York man claimed that he was paid $21,000 for trading in 3D-printed guns at a government buyback event.
A man who identified himself as “Kem” noticed that the New York attorney general’s office was holding a gun buyback event at the Utica Police Department on Aug. 27. Kem allegedly 3D-printed dozens of guns on a $200 3D printer he got for Christmas.
Kem told WKTV, “I 3D-printed a bunch of lower receivers and frames for different kinds of firearms.”
The man reportedly drove six hours to the Utica Police Department to trade in the firearms.
Kem said, “And he sees the tote and says, ‘how many firearms do you have?’ And I said, ‘110.’”…Read the rest

Texas GOP to Biden: ‘Come and take it’ on assault weapons ban pledge
(The Center Square) The Republican Party of Texas has a message for President Joe Biden in response to his pledge to ban so-called assault weapons in the U.S.: “Come and take it.”
The phrase is known to Texans as the rallying cry that sparked the Texas Revolution on Oct. 2, 1835, in Gonzalez, Texas. The Mexican Army attempted to take a small cannon that was largely ineffective but used as a scare tactic to thwart Comanche raids and Texans weren’t giving it up without a fight. Their fight ultimately ended in an 18-minute battle in San Jacinto on April 21, 1836.
Even after the U.S. Supreme Court’s landmark ruling in Bruen, which upheld the Second Amendment rights of Americans, President Joe Biden continues to vow to ban so-called assault rifles. Over the weekend, he tweeted, “It’s time we ban assault weapons in this country.”…Read the rest

(Daily Signal) President Joe Biden’s most recent speech on gun control showed, once again, that he has little respect for gun owners or the Second Amendment. Consider, for example, where Biden mocked (and not for the first time) gun owners as being afraid of “deer in Kevlar vests” simply because they want to defend themselves and their families with the same guns that law enforcement officers use to protect the president and his family.
It was just one unserious moment among many in a completely unserious speech in which Biden also reminded gun owners that they should just comply with gun control because, after all, he could just carpet-bomb them into submission.
Unfortunately, the president never will be able to talk seriously about the Second Amendment until he understands one fundamental reality about the right to keep and bear arms—it is not about hunting or sport shooting.
It’s about the natural right of self-defense…Read the rest

The United Nations: Is it worth all the money?
United Nations’ effectiveness, spending questioned by people in New York as General Assembly convenes
(FOX) NEW YORK CITY – People in New York questioned the effectiveness of the United Nations and the amount of money it spends as the General Assembly convenes for its 77th session.
"I’m not a fan of the UN," one man, Elias, told Fox News. "It’s a money-making corrupt organization."
Giovanni, an Italian who moved to Brooklyn in 1977, made similar remarks.
"I’ll tell you the truth: I don’t know why they exist," he said.
The UN, comprised of 193 nations, was formed after World War II to maintain worldwide piece and to develop friendly relations and coordination between nations, according to the United Nations Charter. World leaders gather at the annual General Assembly in New York to debate important issues facing the world.
"I wish they would do something," one New Yorker, Steve, told Fox News. "I know there is a UN, I know the world leaders meet almost every year."
"Unfortunately, they either have a very bad press secretary, because we don’t hear of anything that they’re doing, or they’re not doing nothing," Steve said.
One man, Ronato, said he doesn’t think the UN is effective… Read the rest
