(Trending Politics) Failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton had some stinging remarks about Trump supporters who handed her defeat in the 2016 election. She made the remarks at the Texas Tribune Festival in Austin on Friday.
“I remember as a young student, you know, trying to figure out, how people get basically drawn in by Hitler. How did that happen? Lawyer says clients are receiving "extremely broad" subpoenas.

(Just the News) A GOP leader and prominent conservative attorney is warning that the homes of dozens of Donald Trump supporters could be in the crosshairs of imminent FBI raids just weeks after the former president’s home was raided by bureau agents.
Harmeet Dhillon, who has served in the Republican Party in various roles including vice chairwoman of the California Republican Party, said Friday evening on the Fox News Channel that a reporter with Politico recently tipped off Trump affiliates that the FBI was preparing serve "[approximately 50] search warrants and/or subpoenas on Trump supporters."
"[W]ithin 24 hours of that two of our clients, three of our clients, actually, did either get search warrants or subpoenas. And these subpoenas are extremely broad," Dhillon claimed the cable TV news network’s Tucker Carlson Tonight" show.
The subpoenas, Dhillon said, "ask for broad categories of documents. They ask for all communications dating from a month before the election until a month, two months after the election.

(Fox) Former President Donald Trump slammed the Department of Justice following the agency’s opposition to his request for a "special master" to review documents seized from his Mar-a-Lago estate, claiming he had already "declassified" the materials.
In the 40-page response filed Tuesday, the Justice Department opposed the appointment of a special master to review documents seized from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, saying he "lacks standing" because the records in question belong to the United States, not him. In addition, the DOJ’s filing said documents were likely "concealed and removed from the Storage Room and that efforts were likely taken to obstruct the government’s investigation."
In a flurry of Truth Social posts Wednesday morning, Trump said it was "terrible" that the FBI "during the Raid of Mar-a-Lago, threw documents haphazardly all over the floor (perhaps pretending it was me that did it!), and then started taking pictures of them for the public to see. FBI Special Agent Who Opened Trump Investigation Has Been Escorted out of Bureau Headquarters

(Trending Politics) An FBI Special Agent who has a track record of mishandling politically sensitive investigations has resigned and was escorted out of the bureau’s headquarters, according to reports surfacing on Monday afternoon.
“A senior FBI official in the bureau’s Washington field office has abruptly resigned after coming under congressional scrutiny for suspected political bias in handling the investigation of Hunter Biden’s computer laptop,” the Washington Times reported.
“The Washington Times learned that Timothy Thibault, an assistant special agent in charge, was forced to leave his post according to two former FBI officials familiar with the situation,” the Times added.
“Mr. Thibault was seen exiting the bureau’s elevator last Friday escorted by two or three ‘headquarters-looking types,’” the report said.
“It is unclear if Mr. Thibault, a 25-year FBI veteran who was on leave for at least a month following revelations about political statements he made while leading the public corruption unit, left on his own accord or was forced out,” the report added…Read the rest

Criticism of Trump supporters goes all the way back the 2016 presidential campaign, when then candidate Hillary Clinton was widely panned for claiming that half of her opponents advocates could fit into a category she described as a "basket of deplorables."
"You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right?" she said at the time. "The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic — you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up."

For those of you waiting on some bombshell information from the Trump affidavit this morning, don’t get your hopes up. Government Supremacists always cover their own arses first.
Normal people don’t have much experience in dealing with government documents. I’ve dealt with a few redactions from FOIA requests over the years. What you get after redaction is usually useless. That’s why real journalist who want the dirt must hunt for leaks. Whether honest or corrupt, no sane government employee is going to leave a dirty paper trail to the boss who holds his career/cajones clutched in his sweaty little fist. Just saying. – DD
