(NRA-ILA) – For quite some time, we’ve talked about Joe Biden and his gift for gaffes. Whether it is him losing battles with his teleprompter, his train of thought spectacularly derailing, forgetting which politicians have passed away, or simply mumbling incoherently, Biden has proven himself to be arguably the most inarticulate man to ever occupy the White House.

But then there are the lies; especially about firearms.

When it comes to Biden, the old joke about knowing a politician is lying when his lips are moving could easily be rewritten as, “How do you know when Joe Biden is lying? When he is talking about the Second Amendment.”

Recently, Biden sat down with Univision News for an interview, and he repeated one of his most blatant lies. While discussing plans to continue his assault on our right to keep and bear arms, Biden claimed, “From the very beginning, I used to teach the Second Amendment in law school, from the very beginning, there were limitations. You couldn’t own a cannon. You couldn’t…. You could own a rifle or a gun.”

We’ll stay away from the unproven claim that he ever taught anyone anything in law school, and stick to what he says about the Second Amendment.

Ignoring Biden’s general ignorance about firearms with the comment about owning “a rifle or a gun,” we’ve pointed out he has made the same general statement about cannons on a number of occasions. And he has been called out on it by fact-checkers on a number of occasions.

Either Biden’s handlers are failing to inform him that everyone knows he is lying about cannons and that he should drop that spiel from his anti-Second Amendment repertoire, he simply cannot remember that he has been told so, or he just doesn’t care that he is lying and hopes…

(Trending Politics) – Whistleblowers from the Washington D.C. National Guard are expected to tell Congress that then-President Donald Trump was ready to deploy them during the 2021 Capitol protests, though the deployment was delayed by the Army. This contradicts testimony from the January 6 Committee.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, at least three officers are set to appear before a House subcommittee to claim that their stories were rejected by the partisan January 6 committee. The Democrat-led committee defied decades of Congressional precedent when then House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) refused to allow Republican leadership to appoint their own members.

The guardsmen are expected to testify that acting Defense Secretary at the time Christopher Miller did indeed give advance approval of D.C. National Guard deployment under Trump’s direction.

(American Thinker) – In a previous essay, I broached the topic of popular nullification in the context of rejecting the State’s propaganda. Citizens are increasingly seeing through the lies Western governments regularly tell their populations in order to buttress their authority and maintain effective social control. As awful as COVID’s lockdowns and other rank authoritarian mandates were, they proved salubrious in educating the public as to how government institutions (including health agencies) fabricate scientific evidence and betray basic medical ethics in pursuit of broader totalitarian agendas. Part of the heightened pushback to expensive “green energy” directives and farming regulations stems from enhanced public awareness that Western governments flood the information space with fake news meant to justify more expansive and intrusive government control.

For critical thinkers who are cognizant of governments’ longstanding use of psychological and sociological “dark arts” to manipulate their own citizens, the public’s “awakening” may seem too late, slow, or insignificant. On the contrary, it is accelerating.

Shattering existing paradigms is like escaping from an intellectual prison. For most people, that prison is all they have ever known. A lot of lone escapees look back at their former cages from a distance and presume that those who remain locked up will never find the strength to break free. The problem, however, is not a lack of strength, but a paralyzing misapprehension that the prison trapping so many minds represents the limits of what is possible.

Right now the rate of intellectual liberation seems slow because inmates escape one at a time. When enough critical thinkers are able to demolish prison walls with the force of their reason, no government lie will be able to stop those who…

(Tennessee Star) – The Atlanta Police Department (APD) confirmed on Monday that the controversial Atlanta Public Safety Training Center is slated to open in January 2025 despite years of protests, demonstrations and violence aimed at preventing its construction.

A video posted to the social media platform X by APD on Monday showed former Chief Rodney Bryant and former Assitant Chief Todd Coyt viewing the site of the safety training center. Bryant was previously instrumental in pushing for the center.

The video confirmed the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center will be “fully operational” by January 2025, with a grand opening scheduled later this year.

“With utilities and electrical work in place, it’s clear this center will be state-of-the-art,” wrote APD in a second post to X. “Current Chief Darrin Schierbaum led the tour, highlighting Bryant’s pivotal role in advocating for its funding and construction. Stay tuned for the grand opening in December 2024!”

While the training center sparked intense protests over law enforcement’s plan to use the facility, the center’s website explains, “sworn officers, civilian responders, firefighters, EMS, and E-911 staff” will use the facility to train “locally and collaboratively, using modern philosophies and methodologies rooted in harm reduction.”
