(Breitbart) – Cartel gunmen in Mexico continue to grow bolder in their tactics and weapons used to attack Mexican military and security forces. This rising violence comes as drug cartels have begun designing and manufacturing their own explosive devices.

In recent days, a faction of gunmen believed to be with Carteles Unidos used a landmine against an armored Mexican Army vehicle in an attack that killed two soldiers and injured several others. Mexican government officials tried to cover up the attack but ultimately were forced to admit to it after videos and photographs from the case began to leak out.

(Washington Examiner) – The Biden administration has secretly been slashing the number of illegal immigrants who must post bond to enter the United States in a policy of “releasing everyone,” according to a former top Department of Homeland Security official.

In revealing its policy under a Freedom of Information Act demand, the administration also showed that it is setting the price of bonds lower than during the Trump administration and requiring a near-record low number of immigrants to pay them.

The bottom line is that the administration is letting thousands of migrants into the U.S. without paying bail bonds to ensure they return for an immigration status hearing. And it’s setting the bond price so low that it’s not worth it for bond companies to hunt down those who skip bail.

“Instead of detaining illegal aliens, the Biden administration is releasing everyone,” said Jon Feere, a former U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement chief of staff.

(Austin County News) – Texas Governor Greg Abbott said on Friday that the Lone Star State will construct a military facility along the Rio Grande near the border community of Eagle Pass. This announcement is just one more example of his determination to stop the flow of illegal immigrants into the United States.

“Forward Operating Base Eagle” will support Operation Lone Star by housing up to 1,800 Texas National Guard soldiers on an 80-acre site, with the potential to house 2,300. By mid-April, the camp will have 300 beds, and after that, Texas Maj. Gen. Thomas Suelzer indicated a further 300 beds will be added each month.

Border Patrol Says 60% of Illegals Now Cross In California and Arizona

(Natural News) – A recent report reveals that approximately 60 percent of all the illegal border crossings down south are now taking place on the adjoining borders of California and Arizona, thanks to the ongoing standoff between the Biden Administration and Texas law enforcement.
On Jan. 21, the Biden Administration urged Texas to allow Border Patrol agents to access Shelby Park after the Texas National Guard took control of it. (Paul Yarbrough, Reckonin’) – Our Governor here in Texas has taken up the cause of halting the invasion of the State of Texas and by extension an invasion of the “Nation.” This isn’t typical courage from our Governor as he usually walks the moderate line with the best of them. He’s got the political war chest of money to prove it, too. But you take what you can get, even if you have to rely on a former political weakling who could turn around again. But, maybe not.

We also have a Lt. Governor (in Texas, the strongest politician due to our constitutional structure) who goes by the name of Dan Patrick. He came to Texas many years ago from Maryland after (for his own reasons) changing his name from Dannie Scott Goeb.

But Dannie or Dan or whatever is the guy to keep an eye on. He came into elected office as a conservative, acting day by day as a supporter of most of his (he had bought the station) talk show hosts (Limbaugh et al) and he did, indeed, sound off on most of the conservative messages ay-by-day.

But, Patrick is a Republican politician, which means someone who can be trusted about as much as a Democrat politician.
